FRICTION

Face aux masques, ils montrent leurs visages.
Ce qui tremble n’est pas ce qui plie.

Facing masks, they bare their faces.
What trembles is not what breaks.

FRICTION is a photographic series extracted from the corpus Paris Is Burning.
The work focuses on exposed bodies facing structures of authority, where vulnerability becomes a form of passive resistance.
